Seapowet was established in 2015 by Jim Gallagher, a mechanical engineer, inventor and entrepreneur.
Jim has decades of experience in the construction, aerospace, defense and industrial sectors.
Making high quality fiberglass rovings is a natural extension of Jim’s decades of experience at Gallagher Customer Machines & Automation building custom machines and composite manufacturing systems, including pultrusion machinery, that utilize rovings and other materials.
Because the Seapowet leadership team has a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes that use fiberglass rovings, they are perfectly positioned to deliver consistent quality packages that integrate well with their customers’ manufacturing systems.
Today, Seapowet is a growing supplier to companies across North America and Asia that utilize high quality fiberglass rovings to make products for the construction, aerospace, defense and industrial sectors.
Seapowet is a privately held company based in Rhode Island.
