Texstrand Texturized Rovings

Texstrand is texturized or volumized bulky fiberglass rovings. It is comprised of E-glass rovings, which have been air jet texturized, entangling and bulking the roving to form a single larger roving.

Capabilities

Improve the shear strength of pultruded profiles
Decrease resin richness and edge cracking in thin pultruded components
Serve as a replacement for continuous strand mat in small and tubular profiles

Packaging

Texstrand packages are shipped by the pallet. A typical pallet will contain either 48 or 60 packages and weigh up to 1,000 pounds depending on the customer’s specified product configuration.
